Tony Kong, CPAOne of my clients reminded me when it comes to hiring a professional if you needed a brain surgeon would you be looking for the cheapest price, or for the best available?

I have reviewed several returns prepared by local CPAs. Their charges were clearly less than ours but they were paying about $10,000 more in taxes per year, and not getting any advice in helping them run their practices.

Does it make sense to pay $3,000 less in fees, but $10,000 more in taxes? You get what you pay for.
