The CARES Act Provider Relief Fund (PRF), managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in coordination with the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), has distributed billions to qualified healthcare and dental professionals; however, with those distributions comes the responsibility of reporting that the funds were allocated appropriately. The reporting period for Phase 3 opened July 1, 2022 and the deadline is fast approaching.
Providers that received one or more General and/or Targeted Provider Relief Fund (PRF) payments exceeding $10,000 in aggregate between January 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021 must report their use of funds by September 30, 2022. Providers that fail to comply with reporting requirements by the deadline will be responsible for paying back the amount received.
The HRSA has set up a portal specifically for PRF reporting, which can be accessed HERE.

Additional reporting resources are available on the PRF Reporting Resources page of the HRSA website
Please contact your Price Kong accountant if you have questions regarding the reporting of PRF payments.
